Team Us: Marriage Together offers couples practical ways to cultivate and strengthen unity in their marriages. Author Ashleigh Slater shares from her own marriage as she presents couples with realistic ideas on how to foster cooperation, deepen commitment, and exercise grace on a daily basis.
I was given the chance to read and review Team Us: Marriage Together and just like the title of the book, the author shares how marriage is a team.
But the book is more than just a couple of stories thrown together to set good marriage examples. The book is easy to read with relatable, funny, everyday stories. In every chapter there are excerpts with Ashleigh husband’s point of view on a particular situation, which makes you see the other side of the coin.
Another thing that makes the book a good read is the set of questions at the end of every chapter. No, I didn’t read every chapter and quiz my husband but I did take a couple of questions that I thought we needed to work on and tackle them.
Marriage takes work and work is easier done when you are part of a team. Your partner is your teammate and you need to work together not separate. Team Us: Marriage Together offers ways to help couples work on TEAM US.
