3 years of a New Normal

September is Thyroid Cancer Awareness month. It has been 3 years since my Cancer diagnosis & surgery and let me tell you that I have my good days & bad days. I have no thyroid and I have to rely on a little pill to control my metabolism, body temperature, energy, emotions and so much more. My scar is a daily reminder that I’m stronger than this and that I can need to push forward when I want to give up.

Check your neck for anything not normal and listen to your body, it’s warning you when something isn’t right.
