Family Day at OCMA

We visited the Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) and had a blast. We went to the museum on Free Second Sunday for families. There was three family activities to engage and teach the kids about the featured art exhibition. The featured art exhibition was Sarkisian & Sarkisian. It only took us 30 minutes to walk the museum.

There was a food truck outside the museum by the BIG dog sculpture and we sat on the grass to have lunch.

Pros: Very nice smaller museum that has modern art that you could expose your kids to. Loved all the activities that  were conducted for Free Second Saturday.

Cons: There is a lot of low wall art and kids have a tendency to want to touch it. Every five minutes we heard a museum employee tell kids “Please Don’t Touch.”  Next time I would take a blanket to sit on the grass to eat from the food truck.
